This instrument is from one of the most sought after makers on the globe - Philip Woodfield.
Woodfield is famous for making colorful, powerful, and elegant instruments that are chosen by some of your favorite artists, both established and popular rising artists.
As you’ll hear me say in the video - it’s my opinion that these guitars are chosen for their incredible sonic quality that somehow pierces into the recordings, like you somehow connected a cable from the soul of the instrument directly into the microphones. It’s really a miracle. I’ve had the pleasure of owning a few of these Woodfields, and it never ceases to amaze me. They are a dream to play and record.
This Woodfield is particularly colorful and natural sounding. The basses are deep and thunderous, and yet the trebles travel through the mix with refinement and presence. The colors are so plentiful - it’s a joy to explore and make music on. I can’t say enough great things about this guitar.
While this guitar has been kept in good condition, there are light nail marks here and there, and some marks where the guitar touches your left leg. No cracks, no repairs, no repolishes. There is some wear to the polish on the back of the guitar as you’d expect but it still looks great (see photos).
