Condition
Excellent overall with only light play wear. Honest nail marks and light handling signs consistent with age, but no cracks or repairs. The saddle retains room for lowering, a rarity for a 40+ year-old guitar. Structurally sound and beautifully preserved.
Sound & Playability
This Friederich represents the very best qualities of his early 1980s work. The trebles are lyrical and fat, sustaining beautifully with warmth and power. The basses are biting, open, and responsive, yet perfectly balanced with the upper voices. The entire instrument sings with noble character and offers a wide palette of colors.
Playability is outstanding thanks to the exceptionally slim neck and low action, making it one of the most comfortable Friederichs I have encountered.
