Built by Iranian-born luthier Saeid Aboutalebian, now based in Valencia, Spain, this 2024 cedar/balsa double top captures the attention of serious players and collectors alike, with a waitlist spanning many years, and guitars in the hands of greats such as Alvaro Pierri. Saeid’s guitars are gaining immense traction in the community, and it’s easy to understand why after playing this one.

The sound is deep, commanding, and powerful, with immense projection and clarity across the entire range. The basses are huge and alive, yet they never overpower the trebles, which remain sweet, chimey, and sensitive. It’s the rare instrument that delivers both the roar of power and the intimacy of nuance, with every note lighting up the guitar with color and energy.

This particular guitar (No. 58, completed June 2024) was previously owned by the prizewinning guitarist Suvan Agarwal, who won several major competitions in both the U.S. and Europe on this very instrument. His extensive playing has opened up the guitar beautifully, giving it a mature, dynamic voice that feels fully developed.
