Overview

This 2026 Ramin Fallah is a Stage Model, the line in his lineup built specifically with performers in mind. Fallah is an Istanbul based luthier of Iranian origin, building traditionally braced guitars with a distinctly modern look, and the Stage Model is his answer for players who need power and separation on an actual stage rather than just in a practice room.

This particular example pairs a thermo treated spruce top with yew back and sides, a combination you do not see every day, along with a side sound port and a modern rosette design that gives the guitar real visual presence as well.

Construction & Design

The top is thermo treated spruce. According to Fallah, the thermal treatment increases the speed of sound transmission through the wood, giving a quicker response and a more lively, sensitive instrument, while also reducing the top's weight. It is a relatively modern process that only a small number of builders currently use.

The back and sides are yew, paired with a Spanish cedar neck and African ebony fingerboard. A side sound port helps the player hear more of their own sound on stage, and the guitar is fitted with DF tuners.

Sound & Playability

The Stage Model is built for projection. Fallah designs it for a powerful sound with clear separation between the bass and treble strings, so it reads clearly even at a distance, the kind of presence that matters on a real stage. Combined with a comfortable, soft feeling neck, it is an easy guitar to settle into for long sets.

Built on a 650 mm scale, it has a familiar feel in the hands. We'll share our own playing impressions once we've spent more time with it.

About the Luthier

Ramin Fallah is an Iranian luthier based in Istanbul, where he hand builds classical and flamenco guitars, including made to order custom instruments. His Stage Model has been played and demonstrated at retailers including Siccas Guitars, Dream Guitars, and Grand Salon de Guitare. Alongside the Stage Model, his lineup includes the higher end Dreamy Model and an Ardeshir Farah signature guitar.
