This beautiful 2023 instrument comes from rising Canadian luthier Mark Usherovich, known for his lightweight, concert-level carbon lattice guitars that are quickly gaining recognition among top players.
Built with a cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides, this model features a carbon-reinforced lattice bracing system, offering a stunning balance of huge sustain, clarity, warmth, and playability. The guitar weighs significantly less than many other carbon lattice instruments, making it an absolute joy to hold and perform on.
Despite the powerful modern voice, Mark's guitars remain extremely musical and natural sounding, never tipping into a synthetic or "over-built" aesthetic that some lattice guitars can suffer from. This is truly one of the most impressive modern concert guitars I have played.
Top: Cedar, carbon-reinforced lattice bracing
Neck: Spanish Cedar, thin C-shaped profile
Fingerboard: Ebony with sapwood center strip
Bridge: Indian Rosewood (matte finish with routed saddle)
Tuners: High-end Scheller precision tuners
Armrest
Raised fingerboard
Exceptional sustain and clarity
The Usherovich offers outstanding sustain, especially in the upper register, where notes like F♯ and G continue to ring with strength and color — an exceptionally rare trait.
It combines the best aspects of top modern lattice guitars:
Long, singing sustain
Natural warmth and responsiveness
A wide dynamic range without losing core tone
The thin, C-shaped neck, tall frets, and low action create an effortlessly comfortable playing experience. Whether for competitions, recordings, or concerts, this is a world-class guitar at an accessible price point.
This Mark Usherovich guitar is a brilliant example of what the best new generation of luthiers are achieving: modern projection, timeless musicality, and superb craftsmanship — all in a featherweight build that feels incredible in the hands.
If you're looking for a serious concert guitar that won't break the bank but can stand among the finest available today, this is a rare opportunity.

Lightly played, 2023 build. Minor playwear consistent with light use. One exceptionally-small crack in the upper bout close to the binding which can be seen in the last photograph. In no way does it affect the sound.
