Up for sale for just a brief moment was this beautiful 8 string made by the Canadian luthier Jeff Sigurdson that was owned by Drew Henderson, who entrusted me to find it a new home.

So as you can see, this is one special guitar, and not just because it has a couple extra strings!
This 8-string is certainly the highest quality extended range guitar I’ve had the pleasure to try. Not only is it huge sounding, but the extra bass doesn’t take away from the singing quality of the trebles that Jeff’s guitars are known for.
Being a balsa doubletop, this one also packs a punch, and has great sustain. To top it off, it’s got a gorgeous set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides, an arm rest, soundport, raised fingerboard… yeah, all the bells and whistles.
