It is not often that we have guitars at this price point that we would recommend, mainly because instruments in this range often do not offer a large leap in sound or playability over guitars that cost significantly less. However, we were recently blown away by these guitars by Daniel Stark when we visited his workshop in Oldenburg, Germany. They are made in Spain, then quality checked and adjusted by Daniel in his own workshop in Germany.

If you are a beginner or intermediate player looking for the next step up, we could not recommend these guitars enough. We personally check each one to make sure it meets our standards, along with Daniel’s. If there is an issue we would not like as a player, the guitar is never passed on to a customer.

Sound

These guitars are braced similarly to Stark’s concert models, and as a result they sound surprisingly close to them. The voice is powerful, with a broad range of colors, and the instruments play extremely easily with low action.

Construction & Design

The guitar features a Simplicio-inspired rosette and bindings that add a refined touch, beautiful without being tacky.
