While I've had the fortune of playing several guitars by Antonio Marin Montero, not one has been quite as 'fun' as this one. It's huge, open, colorful sound, mixed with it's superb playability (640 scale!!), as well as it's small, Torres style body, make it a dream guitar to play. I have to say, listening back to the recording, I'm even more pleasantly surprised with the sonic qualities of this guitar! On top of all of that - this guitar has So. Much. Volume!!!

Antonio Marin Montero is a living legend of guitar making in Spain, and at over 90 years old, this guitar is amongst the pinnacles of his work, and Spanish guitar making as a whole.

On top of that, this guitar was built with a very high quality spruce top, with beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. This guitar is based on an 1862 Torres guitar that belonged to the guitarist Manuel Cano from Granada and is now in the Tokyo Guitar Museum, Japan.

In the photographs (and in the video) you will find images of Antonio Marin Montero in the process of building this guitar, and a photo of him holding this exact finished guitar from his workshop in Grenada, Spain.

Here is an opportunity to purchase a near brand new guitar that is amongst some of the last guitars of Antonio Marin Montero (he has slowed/stopped production), at a price that is extremely affordable.

Included is a beautiful case made to fit this guitar. There are hardly any marks anywhere on this guitar (no cracks, repairs, dings, etc). Just light nail touches here and there (note: NOT rasgueado marks).
